Love our events? We do too! That is why we have bunches of them. But seriously, we believe that everything starts with community and a huge part of our mission is to build a community and be a community resource that can and does effect change. Well, in order to do that, we need to be getting together to make it happen.
Community Action Nights – Our weekly collaboration night. It is part study hall and part social time. We get together each Tuesday night at Industry Charlotte to work on projects and advance civic tech in Charlotte. Learn more here or register on Meetup
All of our annual events are designed for all community members to participate. We not only work on existing projects but explore new projects and community issues that we can help with.
It’s Our Birthday Party – Happy 3rd Birthday to us! You’re invited to our birthday party. It’s our first event of the year and we’d love to have you join us. We’ll talk about the coming year, eat some cake and kick off a new year of civic engagement. Event details here.
Open Data Day – Our annual spring event. It is a network-wide event throughout the Code for America network. In past years, we’ve had community events for open data for activists, analog days and project ideation workshops during the event. Event details here.
Hack For Change – This is usually a multi-day event with great community workshops. As well as, a traditional hack-a-thon. The best part is the same day similar events are happening all around the country, as part of a coordinated Code for America event. Event details here.
Holiday Party – Time to put away the computers and be extra social. After a productive year we are celebrating. Join us for the fun! Event details here.
All of our monthly events are listed on Meetup.com for annual events there will be a registration link for the individual event.
